More than Just a Good Read

Our Downtown has an unsung hero. Our Public Library! The Blanche Solomon Memorial Library is located inside one of our historical buildings which anchors our square. You can hear the bell on the door chime throughout the day with patrons swapping out books and magazine or using one of the many services the library provides our community. Our community can stop in and grab their next great read and are greeted by smiling faces and joyful hearts. The Headland Library team are kind and generous to those they greet each day.

But did you know the library is so much more? Besides hosting several of our special events such as the 200 Bicentennial traveling exhibit in the Fall of 2018 which kicked off Henry County's Birthday Celebration, they have activities and events all year long.
